Exterior Remodeling in Whittier, California

What We See in Whittier

Whittier gives us a lot of properties where the history of the house is visible in the backyard. You may have one slab from the original construction, another poured decades later, a patch where a planter used to be and irrigation from a landscaping plan nobody remembers. For NexGen, demolition here is sometimes a form of archaeology.

We prefer to remove that visual clutter and give the property one clear language instead of replacing each old section independently. Some parts of Whittier also bring elevation into the equation, which makes grade and retaining conditions more important than the front elevation of the house might suggest. The satisfying Whittier projects are usually the ones where the finished yard suddenly makes the house feel more organized too.
