Is it cheaper per square foot to do a larger paver area?
Generally yes, up to a point. Mobilisation, excavation setup and haul-off are close to fixed costs whether you do 300 or 900 square feet, so they spread further on a bigger job. Material and compaction scale linearly, so the savings flatten out once the area gets large.
